The best girls camp ever!!!

Girls camp was so amazing this year.  How can you complain when you have 35 beautiful young women, with no make-up, dirty faces, dirty feet but with smiles from ear to ear.  I was amazed with the girls and how well they bonded and got along with each other.  They are such amazing examples of how we should all act.  It was fun to just sit back and watch them and feel of their spirits.  I remember when I went to camp and felt the spirit on testimony night but these girls were able to feel the spirit everyday in some way.  Sagehen was beautiful, the weather was perfect, and the company was priceless.  Can't wait for next year...

Tuesday before we left, look how clean we are!

                                                      Cutie, Kelsey U.

Kelise, Heather, Kilee and Paige, making bracelets.

Me & Kelsie...the highlight of my week was
being able to spend it with Kelsie and Kilee!

Kelsie's birthday present

Here are a few pictures of Kelsie's new room.  It isn't totally finished we still need to paint doors and the closet.  The important thing is that she loves it!  I will post more pictures later when we get the whole room finished.

Time with Kilee

In June we dropped Kelsie off in Ogden for dance camp, then we went and played with Grandpa and Grandma.  We took the motor home with 8 dancers and the 4 of us.  It was a little squished but it was such a great week.  We went to Park City and shopped and shopped then we went up to Utah Olympic Park.  It was amazing to see all the ski jumps, bob sleds, and gold medals.   We even got my mom and dad on a zip line.  The last day we decide to go to Lagoon and we had so much fun.  We put our suits on left grandpa in the motor home and went on Rattlesnake Rapids 5 times.  We were soaked!  Then we spent the very hot day at the water park.  We played a lot of cards and laughed at my dad a lot!  It was such a nice relaxing time!

Kelsie's Golden Birthday

Kilee made her cake and decorated it too!
Kayla decorated her dinner plate for her!

Kelsie had her golden birthday this year, 17 on the 17th of June.  I didn't even know about golden birthdays so I guess I missed mine.  For her birthday she wanted her room redone.  Her dad came and put shelves in her closet and we repainted and bought a new bedspread and pillows.  When she picked the colors I was a little skeptical because they were so bright but when we got all done we both decided that it was definitely  KELSIE!

LAS VEGAS...

Over Memorial Day, I took my mom and dad and the girls and we went to Las Vegas for my niece's sealing.  Beth my niece (pictures on my mom's camera) and her husband decided to get sealed before she was deployed to Iraq this month.  Both her and her husband Noah are in the Air Force stationed in Vegas.  It was such a great weekend.  I was able to be in the temple with my mom and dad and 3 of my 5 brothers.  It was so nice to see my oldest brother and his family that live in Texas.  I haven't seen them for over 5 years.  It was fun to see my brother as a grandpa!  We had such a fun time just playing, shopping and enjoying each others company!

I'm Back!

It has been a long time since I have done anything on my blog.  Kayla and Ben have told me that I am going to be kicked out of the blogging world.  I guess between recovering from surgery and school being out I have just been slacking.  But I am back and have lots to post!
