The end of December we drove to Las Vegas to go to the MAACO bowl to watch BSU in their last game of the season. Who knew that when we decided to drive it would be risking our lives. The drive from Boise to Salt Lake was uneventful, it was the next morning after leaving Draper that the storms began. A 6 hour drive turned into about 10 as we drove 20 miles an hour and sometimes were at a complete stop on the interstate. At one exit there were so many semi trucks pulled over that they were blocking the interstate so they could put chains on. We counted well over 20 slide offs and when a semi would dare go into the other lane they threw so much slush on the windshield that it was impossible to see for a few minutes. It was probably the scariest drive I have ever personally driven. Next time we decided it would be worth the money to fly!
The game wasn't the best game we dominated the UTE's, the weather was horrible it was so rainy and muddy... but we love our Bronco's and didn't want to miss it! The defense was incredible and the offense held their own, the score ended up 26-3 and should have been much higher on our side. Until next season... GOOOOOOOOOOO BRONCOS!
